The season of thankfulness is upon us, and we here at Lavender Maid are thankful for you! Thank you for supporting our business and being the wonderful clients you are. We know you ladies are busy and hardworking, so it means everything that you would entrust us to help elevate your day-to-day. You lovely, hardworking women make the world go round. You run businesses, raise children, and work diligently, so thank you for taking care of the Hampton Roads area! But are you taking care of yourself?

We want to take care of you here at Lavender Maid; it’s the least we can do to say thank you. Some ways we like to show appreciation are by telling people we appreciate them and by doing something kind for them. This business is tailored for you, driven women. We know that life can get busy and that balancing work, family, finances, and fulfilling your own needs can be difficult. Let us alleviate your concerns while also showing you appreciation and thankfulness. This Thanksgiving, we want to help you make your priorities family, friends, and gratitude. So, while we express gratitude for all of your hard work, you can focus on being grateful and just being full! We’ve got your back!

Lavender Maid can assist you in making your home ready for the Thanksgiving Holiday. Whether you have family coming into town or you are going out of town to see family, it’s always so rewarding to know that you have a clean house to show off or come home to. As a family-oriented business, we understand that home is important; it’s a reflection of you. Our services will ensure that your space is tidy, homely, and just the way you want it to be at the end of a successful Thanksgiving.

Thanksgiving is also a time to appreciate the year’s harvest. According to a 2023 Workhuman Report, 48.8% of women feel underappreciated for their labor and hard work (Colvin, 2023). So it is important to remember to love yourself just as much as you love the others in your life and to put some time and effort into taking care of yourself as well. Show yourself some love and gratitude by letting us love you. By taking care of yourself, it makes it just that much easier to spread more love and goodwill to the people around you. Remember to prioritize goodness and gratitude during this season, and make more good for your home, yourself, and your loved ones.

Fill yourself with love, thankfulness, and food this Thanksgiving season. Enjoy this time to reflect on all of your hard work from this year, and take the time to celebrate with loved ones all that you do for our community. In today’s climate, we find it hard to slow down and savor the work we’ve been doing, but we want to encourage you to look back on this year and cherish all that you have accomplished. We want you to appreciate yourself how we appreciate you. So, what are you thankful for this year?
